FIDDLE CLASSES

Learn to play the fiddle in a friendly, supportive environment! Weekly Group Fiddle Classes for teens and adults begin in January at Quist Violins. Tuition is $40 per month for all classes. Call (360)647-1984 for details!

1. Beginning Fiddle
Mondays, 6:10-7:10pm
Learn to read music and play the violin in this fun introductory course for teens and adults!

2. Old-Time Fiddle
Tuesdays, 6:10-7:10pm
Develop proficiency in 7 major keys while adding 40 old-time fiddle tunes to your repertoire! An excellent "refresher" for violinists with previous experience.

3. Into to Celtic Fiddle
Wednesdays, 6:10-7:10 pm
An introduction to Celtic fiddle styles, ornamentation, bowing technique, and harmony.

4. Advanced Celtic Fiddle
Thursdays, 6:10-7:30 pm
Further continuation of skills learned in Level 3 with an emphasis given to performance and concert sets.
