Veda Environmental was co-founded in 2008 by two enthusiastic and dedicated professional women with over 40 years combined experience protecting and restoring natural resources.

Veda was formed out of passion for designing more efficient and effective stakeholder and science/technical engagement processes – processes that would result in scientifically sound, meaningful and implementable protection and restoration actions with broad
buy-in.

Veda’s motto is “connecting the dots between science, policy and people”. Its staff work diligently to bring their skills, expertise, and growing body of hard-won experience to move the needle on conservation efforts, from managing elk herds in the North Cascades to preventing oil spills in the transboundary waters of Washington, British Columbia and Alaska.
